Boats can be chartered from The Marina Del Este. Day trips can be organised around the coast with a stop at a remote beach for snorkelling and a barbecue and refreshments.

Three golf courses are within easy reach of La Herradura. These are not championship courses but are located in beautiful surroundings and are substantially cheaper than some of the more prestigious courses around Marbella. Two examples are Moriscos at Salobrena and Bavieria at Torres Del Mar. Moriscos is a links course situated just off the beach with views of the Sierra Nevada. Bavieria is a beautiful course with sea views - both have excellent faculties. The courses are a 25 minute drive from La Herradura along the N340 motorway. Clubs and buggies can be hired.
