Description
This duplex house has sea views and is set in a 6,000-square-metre garden with flowers, fig trees and olive trees. Built t in traditional Cycladic style, it is fully equipped and tastefully furnished. Just outside the garden gate is a long, sandy beach. The house is part of a larger property, adjacent to the owner’s home.
A terrace that stretches into the garden allows for the outside living that is typical of Greek islands. Proximity to Antiparos beach and village makes a car unnecessary. The house is especially suitable to families and others who appreciate convenient and frequent access to the Aegean’s clear waters.
The duplex house is made up of two separate and private rooms, linked by an internal staircase. Each room is spacious, with an en suite shower room and kitchenette. There are three beds in the first floor room and two in the ground floor room. An extra bed is available, as is a baby bed.
Both levels have a terrace, with the one of the lower floor continuing into the garden and shaded by an attractive eucalyptus tree. These provide ample space for outdoor eating and lounging. The lower terrace serves as an outdoor living room. The house is suitable for a family or two couples. It sleeps 4-6 people.
Antiparos is in the southern part of the Cycladic group of islands half way between Athens and Crete. Across the straights is the bigger island of Paros.
With its charming port, white-washed houses and picturesque pedestrian street, Antiparos is the kind of Greek island that people dream of. The proximity of the village to several lovely beaches makes it ideal for families and those who enjoy car-free holidays. It is also possible to rent a car, moped, quad bike or bicycle to tour the island and reach less accessible beaches.
There is a wide choice of restaurants, including many traditional Greek “tavernas,” as well as bars and cafés. Less built-up than many of Greece’s larger and better-known holiday destinations, Antiparos retains the feel
